Lifting of the thermo module is carried out with the help of gas stops, which ensures easy lifting, safety of operation, unlike other manufacturers, where winches are used for lifting the thermo module (the risk of cable breakage and as a result the thermal module falls on workers, injuries).

Height-adjustable knots of the hinges of the lifting of the thermal module make it possible to work with membranes of various thicknesses.

The clamping frame on the adjustable lifting hinge assemblies allows to reduce the number of clamps (clamps of the clamping frame) (clamps are located only on the front and sides). The operation is simplified, the production process is accelerated, the deformation of the frame and the damage to the membrane (as in presses without adjustment) are excluded when membranes and films of different thickness are used.

In the design of the press, adjustable supports are used that allow mounting on an unprepared (not even) floor, where the difference can reach 60 mm per 1 meter of surface.

Use of a special wear-resistant thermally stable vacuum sealant to seal the pressure frame and the table reduces the vacuum loss, and hence the hooding time, the depth of the vacuum increases, the wear of the pump decreases, energy costs are reduced, the cost and quantity of rejects are reduced. And also increases the service life before the replacement of the seal.

To measure the operating temperature, it is used without a cabinet, without an inertial temperature sensor, which provides an accurate temperature control of the process, improving the quality of products, reducing the amount of waste and energy costs.

To measure the depth of vacuum, an electronic vacuum gauge pressure transducer is used, it allows to accurately control the depth of the vacuum and specify this parameter using a microprocessor vacuum gauge. And it also allows the vacuum station to operate automatically (maintaining the required vacuum depth), that helps reduce wear of the vacuum pump, save energy, improve product quality, reduce waste, simplify settings and operate. Other manufacturers use electro-contact vacuum metric gauges that are prone to such defects as sticking of contacts (the pump operates constantly without switching off), incorrect activation of contacts (the pump does not turn on when the vacuum falls – the entire tab of the blanks and film is damaged), not the accuracy of the readings.

In the press, KGT quartz lamps installed on ceramic insulators (insulators have practically unlimited service life) are used as heating elements. The installation scheme of the heaters is carefully designed for maximum effective and uniform heating of the film, which ensures easy replacement, availability, low cost.

Ease of management and control

The control panel of the press is designed on the basis of standard industrial automation units. As a thermo-regulator and a vacuum gauge, microprocessor regulators of the domestic production of the company “OWEN” are used, which has proved itself in the market (simplicity of repair, availability, absence of problems with warranty and availability of spare parts). Also digital shutter timers of the Delta company were used to set the extractions of the pressing process in automatic mode. A fully automatic pressing cycle is realized, where the operator only needs to set parameters, put the workpiece and press the “START” button. The process of tightening or manufacturing the facade will go off-line (the number of defects decreases, productivity increases, the cost of production decreases). A solid-state relay is used to control the heaters, which eliminates voltage surges and electrical interference during operation, which is especially important for enterprises suffering from a shortage of power supply.

The presence of inspection windows made of hardened, trauma-safe, heat-resistant, tinted glass in the thermo module allows for visual control of the pressing process. Accelerates the process of development in the production of new products and materials, reduces the probability of rejection in production.
